The Drew Barrymore Show" Returns Without Co-Head Writers After WGA Strike

The Drew Barrymore Show" returns on Oct. 16 for Season 4.

White, Koe, and Kinon, the three co-head authors, turned down invitations to write again.

For WGA compliance, the show is actively interviewing potential replacement writers.

The WGA strike, which started in May, was in support of better pay and benefits.

Barrymore received criticism for intending to broadcast during the strike.

Later, Barrymore expressed regret and postponed the show's debut.

The returns of "The Talk" and "The Jennifer Hudson Show" were also postponed.

The Sept. 27 termination of the Hollywood writers' strike allowed for the restart of shows.
