Standup Comedian David A Arnold Dies at Age 54

The standup comedian David A. Arnold has passed away at the age of 54. Born March 15, 1968, in Cleveland, Ohio, he began performing standup comedy in 1997. He had many notable credits, including appearances on Def Comedy Jam, Jamie Foxx Presents Laffapalooza, and The Tonight Show With Jay Leno. In addition to standup comedy, he had a successful acting career. He appeared in movies such as Meet the Browns and Entourage. He also wrote for television series such as Fuller House.

Arnold died on September 7 while on tour. His cause of death was ruled as natural causes. He was just three dates into his latest comedy tour. He is survived by his wife, Julie, and daughters Anna Grace and Ashlyn Elizabeth. Arnold will be missed by many.

During his career, Arnold had multiple specials on Netflix. He also had a television special on Netflix in 2022. He also worked on BET’s Bigger and Nickelodeon’s Side Hustle. His wife, Julie L. Harkness, is also a standup comedian and was a writer. They have two daughters.
